In Neoliberalism Book 2, I write that: Guyana found oil a few years ago and many in the Caribbean had hoped that this would change the economic trajectory of Guyana. But it has not; Guyana only gets back about 12 % after paying our US Companies 78 % for the cost of getting the crude oil. Recently, Jamaica found oil.
